Homegrown & Local Dinner

Over the past week, while I was off gallivanting in NYC, my garden exploded! Tonight Jill and I made an awesome dinner with arugula and radishes from my backyard and asparagus and bluegill from her dad’s land in northern Wisconsin. Delicious!

Clockwise from back: garlic, mesculan mix, arugula, lettuces, shelling peas, radishes.

Tonight’s harvest: arugula, radishes, irises.

Dinner: Arugula salad with radishes, peaches and red onion in a lemon vinaigrette, sauteed asparagus harvested from Jill’s dad’s garden and cornmeal breaded bluegills Jill caught in some Wisconsin lake up north.
