It’s been a long time coming but I’m excited to announce the launching of the Cast Iron Collective!
As some of you may know, for the past year or so I’ve been working with two dear friends–Shana Ortman and Linda Wells–on starting a consulting business, the Cast Iron Collective. Friends since our days in high school organizing various campaigns with the Unitarian Universalists, we’ve since continued working together both professionally and volunteering together on projects throughout the years. Yet knowing what a dynamic trio the three of us make, the Cast Iron Collective began the other year when we rented a cabin in the redwoods of California complete with wifi and a hot tub and spent three days fleshing out a business plan. While it isn’t exactly what we had envisioned back then, I’m thrilled at the possibilities and directions the Cast Iron Collective will take us in the coming years!
So with that, here’s our brand spanking new website: http://www.homegrownorganizing.org/
As you can see–from event planning and catering to strategic planning and graphic design–we’ve got a lot to offer and are excited to start promoting ourselves and working with even more organizations we love. With that, we’d very much love help in getting the word out to those who may find our services useful–and of course, please keep us in mind for your next project!
